And what more could I have asked for on my birthday than a star-studded episode of Idol?  Good times!  Quick review of the show…

Fantasia – blech!  Never been a fan of that thunder-thighs, bongo-booty, ghetto girl… I don’t think she can sing and her stage presence is quite repelling.  She looked like damn sheepdog last night peeking out from beneath those ridiculous bangs and here again I wish Ryan would not ask questions!  She cannot articulate her thoughts and has the speaking voice of a 4 year old child!  I don’t care how old her daughter is now or how tall the child is.  Just go now please!  Bottom line, did not care for that performance whatsoever.  Moving on…

Casey is safe… good!  But I think it would have been more dramatic to save that news for last since he was a weak link.  But no one asked me my opinion on this before the show, so there ya go!

Daughtry – just was not really feelin’ him tonight.  I mean, I have always thought he is a great talent, and I like the band and all, but the performance was just okay for me last night… dawg!  ;)

Lee is safe… delightful!  He is so adorable and humble… love that!  But here again, I think it would have been more suspenseful to reserve Lee for the bottom two with Big Mike… I mean, we ALL knew Crystal was in no danger.

Bon Jovi – Jon just gets yummier with each year, but Richie Sambori is not really aging so gracefully at all… not such a hottie anymore!  Performance was good and JBJ is just precious!

So down to the final two – Big Mike and Crystal… totally devoid of intrigue as it was a no-brainer that Crystal was safe.  So Pimp Daddy got to do one final shout out and chest-thumping routine before joined on stage by his baby mama and totally petrified infant… get that baby off the stage please!

So it seems the stars did properly align last night (literally and figuratively speaking) and our final 3 are Casey, Lee and Crystal.  Should be a great final show-down… with another colorful commentary to follow!  J
