g3 Health Editor -- Gina Tomaseski
Gina Tomaseski has known Kim for 11 years. I remember the first time I met her, I was asking if she could put my name on my NASCAR fire suit. This brings me to how I would even have a fire-suit, and it is not because my husband of 20 years was getting bored with the usual maid dress-up costume! I actually have made NASCAR history by being one of the team members on the first ever all-female pit crew on the NASCAR circuit to jump the wall in the Craftsman series. I was the "Jack-girl" and Shawna Robinson was our driver really - Google it! In my mid 30's after having 2 children Tyler now 17 and Taina now 15, I decided to get back into the bodybuilding scene. Back in the 80's I was Ms. Missouri and Ms. Collegiate USA in bodybuilding. I jumped back into the competitive world because I thought I could do anything and I liked the new Fitness division. Within 1 year I had won my Pro card at the NPC Nationals in NY City and became an IFBB Fitness Pro. In my early years I completed my degree in Physical Therapy and in August 2011, I completed my Doctorate and am now am the Director of Rehab at Continuum Rehabilitation Hospital of North Texas. I am officially Dr. Gina!

Kim and I grew up together because we are cousins. We have been through a lot together, and I am really glad she asked me to join her on this new adventure.

g3 Fashion Editor -- Kelly B
Kim and I first met in Kindergarten and remained friends over the past 38 years. But how is that possible when we are only 28? Right? This also only means that I know all of her secrets! Even though we have had pauses in our daily contact due to geography and raising kids, we always pick up being the best of friends, right where we left off.
I am a wife of 17 years and a mother of three wonderful children, which keeps me young at heart. I have always had a passion for fashion! Just to prove it, after I got married my first two pets were named Coco and Chanel! I love keeping up with the latest trends in fashion and keep them mixed with the classic looks that never change. I am excited to keep you in the know with the newest, hottest trends in fashion!

g3 Funnies Editor -- C-Hawk
Welcome to the funny side of g3! OK, maybe I’m not funny all of the time, but hopefully you will find my musings to be relatable, irreverent, and oftentimes hilarious. Being an 8th grade English teacher gives me plenty of fresh material daily. Mix in a 14 year old daughter, 18 and 21 year old stepdaughters, a husband (who is an attorney), two elderly parents, and three puppykids, and you can see how my take on life might be a bit, shall we say, distorted! My faith and my girlfriends are the two things that truly keep me sane, and allow me to be ME. That includes kdee, who has been my tried and true friend for 28 years now. Our lives may take different paths from time to time, but I know that whether I’m working on a home improvement project or lying face down in a ditch somewhere (please refer back to the description of my life), she will be there for me, no questions asked! I hope I can make you smile, giggle, and even guffaw a few times while you’re here. Please come back often! Seriously!

g3 Sports Editor -- Kim Wise Rogers
I first met Kim in 6th grade when my family moved to Carrollton from Dallas to avoid the DISD busing system. We met at McCoy Elementary and quickly became BFFs. Though we went separate ways in junior high and high school, we reconnected on Facebook and have once again become great friends. I am a Senior Marketing Manager at a Las Colinas-based tradeshow management company, where I am responsible for attendee and exhibitor communications, including direct mail, e-media, public relations, social media, advertising and websites. I am also an active member of Hope Fellowship Church in Frisco. I am passionate about sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Red Raiders of Texas Tech, my alma mater. I also enjoy reading, gardening, walking, swimming, watching movies, listening to music, spending time with family and friends … and writing for g3girls.com!

g3 Gardening Editor -- Kim Wise Rogers
If you had told me back in 2003 that I would consider gardening a passion, I would have never believed you. My mom has always been passionate about gardening and I could never understand it. It just made no sense to me how it could be fun to squat, crawl on your knees, dig around in dirt and get absolutely filthy fingernails.
It all started to change for me once there was a pool in the backyard where I used to live. I felt that since I had a pretty pool, I needed pretty flowers to go around it. So around 2004 I really began getting interested in gardening. Naturally I leaned on mom for her expertise and guidance. I also bought Neil Sperry’s Guide to Texas Gardening for additional assistance. It is because of my gardening passion that I wanted to add a second column for the g3girls readers.

g3 Restaurant Reviews Editor -- April C
I first met Kim in 7th grade at DeWitt Perry Junior High.
I learned so much about the food and restaurant business during the years I spent with Brinker International. Norman Brinker was a true visionary and taught me so much. I am so blessed to have been able to work for such an innovative man.
While I am no longer in the food and restaurant business, I still have a passion for eating out and trying new restaurants. Some of my favorite local restaurants include
I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Restaurant, Hotel, & Institutional Management. I am happily married and have an adorable son, Grant.

Kim and I have been friends for 36 years. I am very blessed to have her as a lifelong friend. I live in Sanger with my husband Drew, our daughter Reagan and our dog, Boo Boo. We love the quiet country life but I am a shopaholic so I sure wish that NorthPark Center was not so far away. And it would be nice if there was a Super Target closer than 30 minutes. I’m fortunate to have my Mom, aka Mimi, nearby and very thankful for all she does for our family. We attend Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton and I serve as a Eucharistic Minister. Drew and I are also members of the Denton ACTS community. I worked at Fidelity Investments for 21 years until May '09 when my job was eliminated. I enjoyed 10 months off and I'm blessed to have found employment at Sabre Holdings. I love to entertain and enjoy planning social and work related events and meetings. I'm very excited about g3 and all the fun we will have together.
g3 Events Editor -- Melro
I am very excited that Kim has asked me to be a part of g3. I met Kim when I started going to First Baptist Church in Carrollton and we have known each other for 30 years. We were in the Youth Group together at FBCC which was a very big part of my life during high school. I grew up in Carrollton but now call McKinney home; I have lived in McKinney for 15 years and love it! I have been in the Mortgage Business for 20 years and currently work for a large homebuilder in the Dallas area. In my “spare” time I like to run, I am going to run my first half marathon in 2010, work in the yard, play golf, travel, hang out by the pool and spend time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to being a part of the planning of the g3 events and all the new friendships and fun it will bring!
