Have you heard? I've got the best girlfriends ever - so I MUST share them with the world! I have always placed a high value on my girlfriend-ships. As I arrive here in my forties I now know why! Looking back through my life, through the ups and downs of both of my failed marriages and raising my children to adulthood, the ONLY (earthly) thing that has been consistent through it all is my girlfriends.
I have a wide variety of girlfriends in my life. I think it’s important that we each have our own inner circle of friends. Which allows us to encompass a larger circle of friendship … a bigger foundation to stand on. I see some people that have the “one group” of friends but I love the fact that I have friends of all different walks, that have different roles in my life. I firmly believe that God brings people in and out of our lives for a reason. Some are for a season and some are for a lifetime. Some are just for fun and some are to help guide us. Some are for us to lead and some are for us to follow. Some are to help ground us and some are to teach us how to fly. Some are ones to hang out with and some are ones to keep in touch through phone calls, facebook or email. But all in all, I know that my girlfriends are in my corner. They are the ones that I call on in a time of need to lift me up in prayer, to divide my burden and to multiply my happy-ness. I consider you all my family of choice!
That is why I am starting this site! g3: Grateful for Girlfriends & Giggles.
An organization that promotes the bonding of girlfriend-ships! To encourage each of us to love each other and be there for each other no matter what! Whether it is just to pray for each other or actually be there physically to lighten the load. Just to hang out, giggle and enjoy being girls! We don’t have to be mom’s, wives, daughters, business owners, co-workers, volunteers….. we can just be us! And know that we are not being judged in any way. Just being girlfriends! Ahhhh! I love that feeling!
I believe that by encouraging each other to be better, we become better ourselves. I believe that we teach our children and others how to be a good friend by showing them our own value of friendship.
I want to say thank you to all of the girlfriends that have been there for me throughout my rollercoaster life. I owe any sanity that I may have left to all of you. You know who you are! Thank you ladies! I am so grateful to God for blessing me with such beautiful friendships!

My girls!
